My Story

I have received Reiki treatments since 1995, from various Reiki Masters and Practitioners throughout the world. My experiences from receiving Reiki, has enabled me to grow, and receive peace and balance in my life.

One day I was receiving a treatment from an intuitive healer who shared with me a strong feeling, that my soul’s purpose in life is to help people through Reiki. As I am a person, who has always felt the need to help people, and animals throughout my life, I began to understand how I can use Reiki to help people heal their lives.

I began my Journey towards Reiki Mastership with Lisa Berkley in 2012. I worked on my self Practice for a few years, until one day my dear friend was in the process of dying from Cancer.  I felt an overwhelming need to help and support her through her journey of pain and transitioning. With my limited knowledge and using my intuition, and love for her, I supported my friend in her Journey.

At the time of her passing, I received a message of such immense peace and gratefulness,

that it gave me the confirmation, and courage I needed to continue to learn more about Reiki in order to help others. One month later I continued my Reiki journey with Joanna Crespo, at The Open Center in New York.

My reiki Practice helps bring me a sense of peace and connection, as well as balance in my daily life. This enhances my creative expression through my Art. I am able to go deep with my paintings, to create a naturally flowing spiritual beauty, as the paintings become the healing energy of Reiki themselves.

Timeline

-1963- Born , NYC

-1980-  Studied at Marymount College

-1983- Studied Acting at HB Theater School

-1986- Founded “Challenged Artists Now”, An Agency for Actors with disabilities.

-1989- Founder and Owner of “whiskers”,  The first Holistic Health food store for    

            Animals, in NYC

-1992- moved to Israel

- 1998-Studied Art with Kiki Almquist, In Israel

-2001- Returned from Israel, to NYC

-2001- Studied Painting, The Art Students League, NYC

-2012- Reiki 1 with, Lisa Berkley

-2014- Reiki 1,2, and 3 with Joanna Crespo, The Open Center

-2015- Ordination with Rev. Dan Chesbro, The Sanctuary of the Beloved

-2016- Reiki 3 Certification
